Green Vision Recycling has been recently recognised by the Ministry for the Environment for its achievements in minimising waste by being selected as a finalist for the 2013 Green Ribbon Awards.
The award recognises achievements in minimising waste through developing and applying programmes, systems, technology, services or products that help to significantly minimise waste.
When announcing the finalists Environment Minister Amy Adams said, “Tackling environmental issues is not easy. It takes initiative and dedication, and the awards pay tribute to the incredible work being undertaken all over New Zealand to address the environmental challenges we face.” The Green Ribbon award specifically commended Green Vision Recycling for its outstanding commitment to providing environmentally sustainable engineering solutions in the construction and infrastructure sector leading to a reduction in the amount of waste sent to landfill.
Green Vision Recycling is excited about continuing to positively contribute to waste minimisation while providing high quality recycled aggregates which reduce consumption of finite natural resources.
