LEADING CHANGE

Green Vision Recycling was created out of a shared desire by each of the owners to take greater responsibility for the impact their organisations activities were having on the environment.

The New Zealand Government in 2008 enacted the Waste Minimisation act which undertook to develop a culture of environmentally responsibility from national and local government. Key for local government was that Councils were required to develop and implement Council waste minimisation and management plans. The Auckland Council has since implemented a Zero Waste Plan – and as a result it will become increasingly necessary for organisations to take more responsibility for the recycling and minimisation of their waste.

Green Vision Recycling is at the forefront of this charge to encourage the adoption of low energy manufacturing techniqiues and the recycling of construction wastes. We look forward to working with you in embracing these materials and processes so that we in the construction and infrastructure sectors can do our bit to combat climate change and safeguard our environment for future generations.
